Tecnam P2006T Multi-Engine Rating — 3-Day Accelerated Program
Program Overview
This intensive, 3-day add-on is designed for professional aviators who arrive prepared and ready to perform. From your very first flight, you’ll be flying the full checkride maneuver repertoire. Your MEI will progressively refine your performance with each flight, targeting weak points and tightening standards across all maneuvers.
Flight Schedule:
- Day 1 — 2 flights (~1.6 to 1.8 hours each)
- Day 2 — 2 flights (~1.6 to 1.8 hours each)
- Day 3 — Final training flight, followed by a break, then your practical exam
You will log between 7–10 hours in the Tecnam P2006T.

Checkride Scheduling
We maintain strong relationships with a vetted network of DPEs selected for fairness, professionalism, and real-world experience. Checkrides can be scheduled with as little as 2 weeks’ notice, though we recommend booking within 30 days. Due to FAA DMS requirements, checkrides cannot be scheduled less than 48 hours in advance.
Booking & Cancellation Policy
A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to secure your checkride date.
If you cancel after training begins:
- The DPE fee ($1,000) is non-refundable, as it is paid to retain priority scheduling
- Any flight hours used will be billed at the standard hourly rate
- The remaining balance will be refunded
Additional Policies
If your instrument currency is insufficient, we will pause training and work with you in our DA20 or Redbird simulator before continuing. All multi-engine students receive unlimited Redbird sim hours — a BATD that allows up to 10 loggable instrument hours.
If a mechanical issue occurs, delays are typically brief (a few hours). Our 2025 Tecnam is new and well-maintained, and any issues have historically been resolved quickly. If a delay extends beyond one day, your checkride will be rescheduled accordingly.
If you do not pass your checkride, we will endeavor to retest you the same day. In most cases, no additional examiner fee is charged for a same-day retest. If you are charged for a retest, it will cost you $500. Additional flight time beyond 10 hours, if needed, is billed at $450/hour (aircraft) + $65/hour (MEI).
Our Track Record
We have conducted multi-engine ratings for years with an exceptionally high pass rate. The Tecnam-specific program, now in its second year, has been equally successful.
